Gruppe på 15 eller flere som skal til Quito?
Kort og anvisninger
TAXI: from airport, bus stations, other point of the city or on a Direct bus from Colombia or Peru, the easiest is taxi. We are on La Pinta E4-435 and Amazonas avenue, 2 blocks south of the Marriott Hotel, in front of the Spain Consulate. Taxis are not expensive in Ecuador.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: not all public transportation in Quito is available 24 hours. When taking public transport you can ask the driver or helper if the bus will work for you. CAREFUL with PICKPOCKETS!
-From the airport: as you clear luggage, take Aeroservicios bus that goes to the old airport, leave it and cross Amazonas avenue, take any bus that goes all Amazonas, after around 20 minutes and when you see the Marriott on the left, get off (no set stop). You will be very close to La Pinta street, and so we are 20 meters from Amazonas avenue. Walk on La Pinta and we are on the left.
-From Carcelen station: you will arrive here when coming from Otavalo, Ibarra, Tulcan or any other city from the north of Quito. Once in Carcelen leave the station to Eloy Alfaro avenue and take the bus in the same side of the street. Take any bus that goes all Amazonas avenue, after around 30 minutes and when you see the Marriott on the left, get off (no set stop). You will be very close to La Pinta street, and so we are 20 meters from Amazonas avenue. Walk on La Pinta and we are on the left.
-From La Ofelia station: you will arrive here when coming from any of the towns in the north west of Quito such as Mindo. In the station is the begining of Metro bus so take it, after around 30 minutes you will get to the 14th stop: Seminario Mayor, leave the station and go to Colon avenue, which is the biggest one around there that goes down; walk this avenue for around 800 meters to Amazonas Avenue or take any bus that goes down the same Avenue. In Amazonas Avenue turn left and go 2 blocks, turn right on La Pinta street and we are on the left.
-From Quitumbe station: you will arrive here if you come from any other point of the country. This is the begining of Trole bus, take C2Q, C5 and 24 horas lines (you can always ask). Trole is the biggest in Quito, so take it for around 30 minutes and around 30 stops. Get off on Colon avenue and walk on Colon the part that is flat. Walk this avenue for around 400 meters to Amazonas Avenue or take any bus that goes down this Avenue. In Amazonas turn left and go 2 blocks, turn right on La Pinta street and we are on the left.
If you come from other point and the closest is Ecovia, take it to Orellana stop. leave the station and go towards the shopping mall you will see Unicentro, go to the left of it and take La Nina street (besides the mall) to the right walk on La Nina for 5 blocks and then turn left on Juan Leon Mera, go 1 block and turn right, we are on the right.
NOTE: Cumanda and all the small stations from bus companies no longer exist. Busses arrive to the major stations. Is always easier to get a taxi and not expensive!
