Kunne lide: Clean, very good location, friendly owner.

Kunne ikke lide: I have only one reason for not recommending this B&B to other travellers. Even though the location was good and our room cosy and clean, it was located just above the kitchen where all the guests could smoke. (And so they did!) Because the house is so old, the smoke went straight to our room. It was extremely heavy, and even our towels smelled like the inside of an old pub. I even awoke from it a few times, and had to sleep with an open window, which meant that I got a fever. I am accustumed to cigarette smoke, as my boyfriend smokes (though he only smokes outside), and yet even he was very annoyed by the heavy smell from the kitchen. We spoke with the owner about it, and though he was very nice, he told us that there were no other rooms available, but that he himself had noticed the stench (That seems very reasonable, as I can see here many other have slept in that same room and have complained about the smoke.)However, nothing else was done about it, and we had already paid for our room, so we just had to endure. When all this is said, our room was the only one that really smelled, the other rooms seemed OK.
